We are seeking a skilled Turner to join our team in Svalbard. As a Turner, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machines and tools to shape metal parts and components. This is a contract job with a salary of 1000$, with accommodation provided and a free visa and ticket for non-Svalbard residents. Responsibilities:
- Operate various machines such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, and drills to cut, shape, and smooth metal parts
- Read blueprints or technical drawings to determine specifications for production
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Troubleshoot any issues with machines or tools
- Maintain proper inventory of materials and tools needed for production

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Previous experience in metalworking preferred but not required
- Ability to read blueprints or technical drawings
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Familiarity with various metalworking tools and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
