Entry-Level Locksmith - Svalbard


Are you looking for a career in the skilled trade industry? We have an exciting opportunity for an entry-level locksmith to join our team in Svalbard! As a locksmith, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and adjusting locks and other security devices. No previous experience is required, as we will provide on-the-job training.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install and repair locks, safes, and other security devices
- Cut new or duplicate keys using key-cutting machines
- Repair or replace damaged or malfunctioning locks
- Test lock systems to ensure proper functioning
- Provide customers with information on lock operation and maintenance
- Keep accurate records of all work performed

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical diagrams
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is $1300 per month. Additional benefits include health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for advancement within the company.

Location:
This is a full-time position based in Svalbard. Candidates must have legal authorization to work in Svalbard.
