Skilled Concrete Worker

We are in need of a skilled concrete worker to join our team in Svalbard. As a concrete worker, you will be responsible for creating, pouring, and maintaining concrete structures. You must have at least 2 years of experience in the field and be able to work with various types of concrete materials.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare construction sites by cleaning and setting up necessary equipment
- Measure and cut materials for forms and molds
- Mix, pour, and level concrete according to project specifications
- Smooth, finish, and seal surfaces using trowels or other tools
- Monitor drying process and make adjustments as needed
- Install rebar or mesh for added structural support
- Repair damaged or worn concrete structures as needed

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience working with concrete
- Ability to read and follow construction plans
- Familiarity with different types of concrete materials and their uses
- Physical strength and stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods of time
- Attention to detail to ensure precise measurements and finishes
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Experience with operating construction equipment such as mixers, saws, and drills preferred

We offer a competitive salary of 1200$ per month along with accommodation. As this position is located in Svalbard, preference will be given to candidates who are willing to relocate.
