We are hiring a skilled Civil Engineer to join our team in Svalbard. As a Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, constructing and maintaining infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, and buildings. You will need previous experience in the field and a strong understanding of engineering principles and practices. Your attention to detail and problem-solving skills will be essential as you oversee projects from conception to completion.

Responsibilities:
- Designing and planning construction projects
- Conducting site investigations to determine project feasibility
- Preparing cost estimates and budgets
- Collaborating with architects, contractors, and other professionals
- Ensuring compliance with local regulations and safety standards
- Overseeing construction progress and making necessary adjustments
- Troubleshooting any technical issues that arise during the construction process

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in civil engineering
- Strong knowledge of design software such as AutoCAD or MicroStation
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

This is a full-time position with a salary of $1300 per month. Accommodation is not provided, so candidates must have their own visa for working in Svalbard.
