Industrial Alpinist



A reputable company in Svalbard is seeking a skilled and experienced Industrial Alpinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in industrial climbing and rope access, with the ability to perform various tasks at height with precision and safety. This is a full-time position with accommodation and visa sponsorship provided.

Responsibilities:
- Perform industrial rope access tasks such as inspection, maintenance, and construction work
- Conduct risk assessments and adhere to safety protocols at all times
- Rigging of ropes, anchors, and other equipment for safe access
- Operate specialized tools and equipment while working at height
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth workflow
- Follow company policies and procedures for quality assurance

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial alpinism or rope access work
- Certification from an accredited training program (e.g., SPRAT or IRATA)
- Strong physical fitness and ability to work at heights for extended periods of time
- Knowledge of various rope systems, rigging techniques, and safety procedures
- Familiarity with industry-specific tools and equipment
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1800 per month for this full-time position, with opportunities for growth within the company.
