Job Title: Metal Fabricator


We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator to join our team in Svalbard. As a Metal Fabricator, you will be responsible for creating, repairing, and installing metal structures and components according to specifications and blueprints.

Your main duties will include cutting, shaping, and bending metal using various tools such as shears, saws, and welding equipment. You will also be responsible for measuring and marking dimensions on metal pieces to ensure accuracy. Additionally, you will be required to assemble and weld metal components using different techniques such as arc welding and gas welding.

The ideal candidate for this position should have previous experience working as a Metal Fabricator or similar role. They should also possess strong technical skills with the ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings. Attention to detail is crucial in this role as you will be required to produce precise measurements for each project.

As this role requires working with various types of metal materials, candidates should have basic knowledge of different types of metals such as steel, aluminum, and copper. Good physical strength and stamina are also necessary as this job involves standing for long periods of time and lifting heavy objects.

We offer a competitive salary of 1600$ per month with accommodation provided. This position is open to all nationalities; however, candidates who are already located in Svalbard are preferred.
