Heavy Equipment Operator


We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team in Svalbard. As an Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of heavy equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, and loaders. Your main tasks will include moving earth, rocks, and other materials to facilitate construction projects.

To be successful in this role, you must have previous experience operating heavy equipment and possess a valid driver's license. You must also have excellent hand-eye coordination and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Physical strength and stamina are also essential as you will be required to lift heavy objects.

Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently according to project requirements
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment
- Transport materials to designated locations on construction sites
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed at all times
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
- Keep accurate records of work performed

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience operating heavy equipment
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical strength
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Knowledge of safety procedures for operating heavy equipment

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1400 per month.
