Heavy Equipment Operator

As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery such as bulldozers, excavators, and loaders to move materials and perform construction tasks. Your duties will include inspecting equipment for safety, maintaining proper logs and records, and following all safety procedures. The ideal candidate will have experience with heavy equipment and possess a valid operator's license. This role may require long hours and physical labor in various weather conditions. Accommodation in Svalbard is provided.

Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently
- Perform daily maintenance checks on equipment
- Follow all safety procedures and regulations
- Complete required paperwork and maintain accurate records
- Communicate with team members to coordinate tasks
- Ensure work site is clean and organized at all times
- Report any malfunctions or damages to equipment immediately

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid heavy equipment operator's license
- Minimum of 1 year experience operating heavy machinery
- Ability to read maps and blueprints
- Strong communication skills
- Physically fit to perform manual labor in various weather conditions
- Attention to detail
- Team player

Salary: $1700 per month
