Contract Glazier in Svalbard


We are in need of an experienced and skilled Contract Glazier to join our team in the beautiful city of Svalbard. As a Glazier, you will be responsible for installing and repairing glass products such as windows, doors, mirrors, and shower enclosures. Your main task will be to cut and fit glass according to precise measurements and specifications. This is a contract position with accommodation provided.

Responsibilities:
- Measure and mark glass for cutting according to specifications
- Cut, grind, and polish glass using specialized tools
- Install glass products such as windows, doors, mirrors, and shower enclosures
- Remove old or broken glass and replace with new pieces
- Seal edges of glass with putty or other materials
- Ensure proper placement and alignment of glass products
- Follow safety protocols when working with glass materials

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Glazier or similar role
- Proficient in cutting, shaping, and installing various types of glass
- Strong knowledge of safety procedures when working with glass materials
- Ability to read blueprints and follow measurements accurately
- Strong attention to detail and precision in workmanship
- Physical stamina to handle heavy equipment and materials

Salary: $1700 per month

Location: Svalbard (accommodation provided)
