Commercial Architect

We are seeking a talented and experienced Commercial Architect to join our team in Svalbard. As a Commercial Architect, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the construction of commercial buildings, including offices, retail spaces, and industrial facilities. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and create innovative designs that meet both aesthetic and functional requirements.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to determine project goals, budget, and timeline
- Conduct site visits and surveys to gather information for design development
- Create detailed drawings, blueprints, and specifications for commercial buildings
- Use software such as AutoCAD or Revit to develop 3D models of proposed designs
- Ensure that all designs comply with building codes and regulations
- Work with contractors and engineers to oversee the construction process
- Monitor progress on construction sites to ensure that designs are being implemented correctly
- Address any issues or challenges that arise during construction

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Commercial Architect
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp or other design software
- Strong understanding of construction processes and building codes
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with clients, contractors, and team members

Salary: $1000 per month (negotiable based on experience)
