Architecture Manager

The Architecture Manager will oversee all aspects of the architectural design process in our firm located in the beautiful city of Svalbard. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1500$ per month, and accommodation will be provided for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead a team of architects, providing guidance and mentorship as needed
- Develop and implement design strategies that align with client needs and project goals
- Review and approve all architectural plans, ensuring they meet industry standards and regulations
- Oversee budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation for each project
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that may arise
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination throughout the design process

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in architectural design, with at least 2 years in a managerial role
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members
- Extensive knowledge of industry standards and building codes
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or other design software
- Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders
- Ability to multitask and prioritize projects effectively

Preferred:
- Experience working on environmentally sustainable projects
- Knowledge of local building regulations in Svalbard
