Senior Architect - Svalbard


We are in search of a highly skilled Senior Architect to join our team in Svalbard. As a Senior Architect, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the design and construction of various residential and commercial projects. Your expertise in architecture, project management, and team leadership will be crucial in ensuring the successful completion of projects within agreed timelines and budget.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide innovative design solutions
- Lead a team of architects and designers to develop high-quality architectural plans and drawings
- Oversee the construction process to ensure compliance with design specifications and building codes
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources effectively
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that may arise during construction
- Stay updated on industry trends, new materials, and building techniques to incorporate into designs

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role as a Project Architect or Manager
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and other relevant software
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Proven track record of successfully completing projects on time and within budget
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to mentor and motivate team members

We offer a competitive salary package of 1100$ per month for this full-time position. This does not include accommodation. This job is suitable for students who are looking for hands-on experience in the field of architecture.
