Machine Operator (Svalbard)

As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of machines in a manufacturing or production setting in Svalbard. Your main duties will include setting up and adjusting machines, monitoring their performance, and troubleshooting any issues that may arise. You will also be responsible for ensuring that production quotas are met and quality standards are maintained.

To excel in this role, you must have a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics. You should also have good problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Experience with different types of machinery, such as lathes, drills, or presses, is preferred.

In addition to technical skills, we are looking for candidates who are reliable, detail-oriented, and able to follow instructions accurately. You must also have good communication skills to effectively communicate with your team members and supervisors.

As our ideal candidate, you should have at least 2 years of experience as a Machine Operator in a manufacturing or production setting. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with additional technical training or certification being an advantage.
