Junior Accountant - Svalbard Contract



We are a reputable accounting firm based in Svalbard, looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our team on a contract basis. As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with daily financial activities and maintaining accurate records for our clients. Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements, tax returns, and other financial documents
- Maintain accurate and organized records of financial transactions
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies
- Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and resolve any discrepancies
- Assist in the preparation of budget reports and forecasting
- Collaborate with senior accountants on various projects as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (recent graduates are welcome)
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and procedures
- Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software (QuickBooks, Excel, etc.)
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
