Junior Accountant


We are a leading accounting firm in Svalbard, looking for a Junior Accountant to join our team. As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis for our clients. This role is ideal for students or individuals with some accounting experience looking to gain more hands-on experience in the field.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with preparing financial statements and reports for clients
- Conduct budgeting and forecasting activities
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and variances
- Assist with monthly and quarterly close processes
- Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and timely reporting
- Support internal and external audits
- Stay updated on industry regulations and changes in accounting standards

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or currently pursuing)
- 1+ year of experience in an accounting role (internship or part-time experience acceptable)
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and procedures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask

Salary: $1500 per month.
