Part-Time Teacher in Svalbard

As a Part-Time Teacher in Svalbard, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons to students in a supportive and engaging manner. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about teaching and wants to make a positive impact on the education of young learners.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that follow the curriculum
- Create a positive learning environment for students
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback on their academic performance
- Collaborate with other teachers to ensure a cohesive learning experience for students
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress
- Participate in school events and activities as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
- Teaching certification or license (preferably from the Svalbard Department of Education)
- Minimum of 2 years teaching experience, preferably with young learners
- Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus)
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans and activities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Salary: USD 1300 per month (based on part-time hours)

Location: Longyearbyen, Svalbard
