Language Teacher


As a Language Teacher in Svalbard, your primary responsibility will be to teach language classes to students of all ages, with a focus on adults. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons that cater to the needs and abilities of your students. Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver effective language lessons based on the curriculum provided
- Create a positive learning environment that promotes student engagement and motivation
- Assess student progress and provide regular feedback to help them improve
- Use a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure effective lesson delivery
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and grades
- Communicate with parents or guardians as needed regarding student progress

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
- Teaching certification or relevant teaching experience
- Fluency in the target language (English)
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Cultural sensitivity and ability to work with diverse populations
- Experience using technology in the classroom is a plus
