Part-time Student Teacher
Location: Svalbard


We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Part-time Student Teacher to join our team in Svalbard. As a Part-time Student Teacher, you will be responsible for assisting the lead teacher in creating a positive and engaging learning environment for students. This is an excellent opportunity for students who are pursuing a career in education and are looking to gain hands-on experience in a classroom setting.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead teacher with planning and implementing lesson plans
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for students
- Provide one-on-one support to students who may need extra help
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the lead teacher
- Help with classroom management tasks such as setting up materials, organizing student work, etc.
- Communicate with parents or guardians regarding student progress and behavior
- Attend staff meetings and professional development sessions as required
- Follow all school policies and procedures

Requirements:
- Must be currently enrolled in an education program or have a degree in education
- Previous experience working with children or teaching is preferred
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Must have valid visa sponsorship for working in Svalbard

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1000 per month.
