Temporary Truck Driver in Svalbard

We are seeking a temporary Truck Driver to join our team in Svalbard. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating our trucks to transport goods and materials to and from various locations. This is a temporary position, ideal for those looking for short-term work opportunities.

Responsibilities:
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport goods and materials
- Follow traffic laws and maintain a clean driving record
- Inspect vehicles before and after each trip, reporting any issues or damages
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper distribution and securement
- Plan routes according to delivery schedules and road conditions
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members
- Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times

Requirements:
- Valid biometric passport allowing entry into Svalbard (if not a Norwegian citizen)
- Ability to work without accommodations provided by the company
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions
- Clean driving record with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL)
- Prior experience as a truck driver is preferred but not required
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English (Norwegian language skills are a plus)

Salary:
The salary for this temporary position is 1400$ per month.
