Floral Assistant - Part Time (Svalbard)



We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative individual to join our team as a part-time Floral Assistant in Svalbard. As a Floral Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting the Florist in creating beautiful floral arrangements for various occasions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for flowers and a desire to learn more about the floral industry.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with preparing and arranging flowers for various events and occasions
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the flower shop
- Communicate with customers to understand their needs and provide excellent customer service
- Assist in ordering, receiving, unpacking, and storing floral supplies
- Help with pricing and labeling of floral products
- Perform general administrative tasks such as answering phones, taking orders, and processing payments

Requirements:
- Previous experience in floral design or related field preferred but not required
- Passion for flowers and creativity in designing arrangements
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds

This is an entry-level position suitable for freshers looking to gain experience in the floral industry. The working hours will be part-time, with a starting salary of $1300 per month. Preference will be given to candidates residing in Svalbard.
