Restaurant Manager
We are currently hiring a Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant in Svalbard. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in restaurant management and strong leadership skills. As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maximizing profitability.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, including managing staff schedules, inventory, and budget
- Train and supervise staff to provide excellent customer service and maintain a high level of cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones
- Work closely with the kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of food items
- Handle customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner
- Monitor financial transactions and ensure accurate record keeping
- Conduct regular inventory checks to maintain appropriate levels of supplies
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations at all times
Requirements:
- Previous experience in restaurant management is preferred
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong understanding of food safety principles and regulations
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Must have own visa or right to work in Svalbard
Salary:
The salary for this position is 1100$ per month.
