Contract Dietitian - Svalbard

We are seeking a qualified and passionate Dietitian to join our team in Svalbard on a contract basis. As a Dietitian, you will be responsible for providing nutritional guidance and support to clients, promoting healthy eating habits, and creating personalized meal plans. This position is ideal for someone without experience who is looking to gain valuable knowledge and skills in the field of nutrition.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct nutritional assessments and develop individualized meal plans for clients
- Educate clients on the importance of healthy eating habits and provide guidance on making sustainable dietary changes
- Monitor clients' progress and make necessary adjustments to meal plans as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients
- Stay up-to-date on the latest research and developments in the field of nutrition
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and progress

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or a related field
- Registered Dietitian (RD) credentials preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to effectively educate others about nutrition
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of current nutrition guidelines and recommendations
- Comfortable working with individuals from diverse backgrounds

Salary: 1800$ per month

Location: This position is based in Svalbard, an archipelago situated between mainland Norway and the North Pole. The island offers stunning natural landscapes, unique wildlife, and a small but vibrant community.

Accommodation: Accommodation will be provided for the duration of the contract.
