Job Title: Dietitian - Nutrition Specialist

As a Dietitian - Nutrition Specialist, you will be responsible for providing evidence-based nutrition counseling and education to clients in the Svalbard area. Your main goal will be to promote healthy eating habits and help clients achieve their health and wellness goals through personalized meal plans and nutrition interventions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct nutrition assessments and develop individualized meal plans for clients based on their specific needs, health conditions, and dietary preferences
- Provide education on proper nutrition, including portion control, balanced meals, and healthy food choices
- Monitor clients' progress and make necessary adjustments to their meal plans as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients with complex medical conditions
- Stay updated on the latest research and developments in the field of nutrition to provide evidence-based recommendations to clients
- Conduct group nutrition education sessions for community organizations or businesses as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nutritional Sciences or related field
- Active registration with a professional dietetic association in your country of origin (e.g. American Dietetic Association)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a dietitian or nutritionist in a clinical setting
- Strong knowledge of medical nutrition therapy for various health conditions (e.g. diabetes, heart disease, allergies)
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts in simple terms
- Passion for promoting healthy eating habits and helping individuals improve their overall well-being
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Norwegian is an asset

Salary:
