Instrument Technician



We are seeking a skilled Instrument Technician to join our team in Svalbard. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, testing, and maintaining various types of instruments and equipment used in industrial settings. This role requires a high level of technical expertise and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
- Install, calibrate, and maintain instruments such as pressure gauges, thermometers, flow meters, and sensors
- Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning instruments
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and report any issues or concerns to supervisors
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while working with instruments and equipment
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to ensure proper functioning of instruments within systems

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred
- Prior experience as an Instrument Technician is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of various types of instruments used in industrial settings
- Familiarity with electrical systems and ability to read technical diagrams
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
- Physically fit to work in industrial environments with varying conditions
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Biometric passport for international travel is required
