Warehouse Worker

A reputable warehouse in the arctic region of Svalbard is seeking a hardworking and reliable Warehouse Worker to join our team on a contract basis. As a Warehouse Worker, you will be responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing goods within the warehouse. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against purchase orders
- Sort, label, and store items in designated locations within the warehouse
- Keep track of inventory levels and report any discrepancies or shortages
- Pick and pack orders accurately according to customer specifications
- Load and unload trucks using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse space at all times

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working in a warehouse setting preferred but not required
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods of time
- Basic math skills for inventory tracking purposes
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication skills in English (knowledge of Norwegian is a plus)
- Valid work visa for Svalbard (if not already a resident)
