Warehouse Operations Specialist

As a Warehouse Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the daily operations of our warehouse in Svalbard. This includes coordinating and supervising the receiving, storing, and shipping of goods, as well as maintaining accurate inventory records. You will also be responsible for ensuring the warehouse is organized and efficient, implementing safety procedures, and training new employees. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in warehouse operations and strong organizational skills. Accommodation and visa sponsorship are available for international candidates.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the warehouse
- Coordinate and supervise receiving, storing, and shipping of goods
- Maintain accurate inventory records
- Ensure warehouse is organized and efficient
- Implement safety procedures
- Train new employees

Requirements:
- Prior experience in warehouse operations
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting
- Good communication skills
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods of time

Preferred:
- Experience with inventory management software
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to warehousing

Salary: $1200/month (accommodation included)
