Job Title: Construction Manager - Contract Position in Svalbard



We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Manager to join our team for a contract position in the beautiful city of Svalbard. As a Construction Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of construction projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and coordinating with various teams and contractors.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop project plans and timelines in collaboration with project stakeholders
- Manage project budgets and ensure cost-effective solutions are implemented
- Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to ensure quality materials and timely delivery
- Oversee the work of construction teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and project specifications
- Communicate regularly with project stakeholders to provide updates on progress, issues, and resolutions
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, and other key partners

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in construction management
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, techniques, and equipment
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams towards achieving project goals
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
