Entry Level Welder


We are searching for an Entry Level Welder to join our team in Svalbard. As a Welder, you will be responsible for welding and fabricating metal components according to blueprints and specifications. This is a great opportunity for someone without experience in welding to gain hands-on training and develop their skills.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine welding requirements
- Set up welding equipment based on project specifications
- Weld metal components using various techniques such as MIG, TIG, and stick welding
- Inspect completed welds for quality assurance
- Operate cutting equipment such as plasma cutters and grinders
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently

Requirements:
- No prior experience in welding required, but must have a strong interest in the trade
- Basic understanding of welding techniques and equipment preferred
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings
- Physically able to stand, bend, and lift heavy objects for extended periods of time
- Biometric passport or willingness to obtain one for international travel (if applicable)
- Must be willing to live on-site in provided accommodation during project assignments

Compensation:
This position offers a starting salary of $1700 per month. In addition, we provide full training and offer opportunities for career advancement within our company.
