Welder


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Welder to join our team in Svalbard. As a Welder, you will be responsible for using specialized equipment to cut, shape, and join metal parts together according to blueprints and specifications. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1400 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and welding process specifications
- Setting up and operating welding equipment
- Using various welding techniques to join metal parts together
- Inspecting welded surfaces for defects and performing necessary repairs
- Maintaining a safe work environment by following all safety protocols
- Collaborating with other team members to complete projects on time

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Welder or in a similar role
- Knowledge of different welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and arc welding
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Familiarity with welding safety procedures and equipment maintenance
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work

Preferred:
- Trade school diploma or certification in Welding
- Experience working with stainless steel or other specialty metals
- Previous experience in shipbuilding or construction industry
