Head Pastry Chef

We are searching for an experienced and creative Head Pastry Chef to join our team in Svalbard. As the Head Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the pastry department, from menu planning to execution. Your main duties will include creating new and innovative pastry dishes, managing inventory and ordering supplies, training and supervising pastry staff, and ensuring that all food safety and hygiene standards are met. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Culinary Arts or a related field, at least 5 years of experience as a Pastry Chef, and excellent leadership skills. If you have a passion for creating delectable desserts and leading a team in a fast-paced environment, then we want to hear from you! This is a full-time position with a salary of $1000 per month. Non-native speakers are welcome to apply as long as they have strong English proficiency. Applicants with Nordic cuisine experience will be given preference.
