Land Surveyor - Svalbard, Norway
As a Land Surveyor in Svalbard, Norway, you will be responsible for conducting surveys to determine property boundaries and establish accurate measurements for construction projects. You must have previous experience in surveying and be able to work with precision and attention to detail. Accommodation will be provided for the duration of your employment. Responsibilities:
- Conduct surveys to determine property boundaries and establish accurate measurements
- Use specialized equipment and software to collect data
- Analyze data and create detailed reports
- Communicate with clients, contractors, and other professionals involved in construction projects
- Ensure compliance with regulations and standards
- Keep up-to-date with industry advancements and best practices
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Land Surveyor preferred
- Excellent mathematical skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in using surveying equipment such as GPS devices, total stations, and electronic levels
- Familiarity with CAD software
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Biometric passport required for international travel purposes
Salary:
Salary for this position starts at $1700 per month, depending on experience.
