Dishwasher - Entry Level
As a dishwasher, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of kitchenware and equipment. Your role will involve washing and organizing dishes, silverware and other kitchen utensils, as well as maintaining a clean and organized work area. This is an entry level position, making it a great opportunity for students or those without prior experience to gain valuable skills in the food service industry.
Responsibilities:
- Clean dishes, silverware, and other kitchen utensils using proper sanitation methods
- Assist with food prep and basic kitchen tasks as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times
- Follow all safety procedures while handling equipment and chemicals
- Help with inventory management by keeping track of dishware and restocking as needed
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow
- Follow all health code regulations to ensure a safe dining experience for customers
Requirements:
- No prior experience required; on-the-job training will be provided
- Must have strong attention to detail and be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
- Basic knowledge of food safety regulations is preferred but not required
- Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Salary: $1400 per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Svalbard (preference for local candidates)
