We are hiring a skilled Handyman to join our team in Svalbard. As a Handyman, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the proper functionality and appearance of our facilities. Your duties will include fixing plumbing and electrical systems, repairing appliances, painting, and conducting general upkeep tasks. The ideal candidate should have experience in a similar role and be able to work independently. This is a full-time position with accommodation provided. Non-native English speakers are welcome to apply. Salary is 1500$ per month.

To be successful as a Handyman, you should have strong knowledge and skills in various maintenance areas such as carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work. You should also have good problem-solving abilities and be physically fit to handle manual labor tasks.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on buildings, equipment, and machinery.
- Inspect facilities periodically to identify issues or defects.
- Install new appliances or fixtures as needed.
- Perform basic carpentry tasks such as building shelves or repairing furniture.
- Repair plumbing or electrical systems.
- Paint walls, ceilings, or other surfaces.
- Keep track of inventory for necessary supplies.
- Respond to emergency calls for urgent repairs.
- Collaborate with other team members to complete larger projects.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Handyman or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of various maintenance areas such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, etc.
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively.
- Physically fit with good stamina for manual labor tasks.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Own visa for working in Svalbard (preferred).
