Hotel Sales Manager - Svalbard
As a Hotel Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales and revenue for our hotel in Svalbard. You will use your strong communication and negotiation skills to build relationships with potential clients, including individuals, groups, and corporate clients. Your goal will be to increase bookings and promote the hotel's services and amenities.
To be successful in this role, you must have at least 3 years of experience in hotel sales or a related field. You should have a proven track record of meeting sales targets and building successful client relationships. Knowledge of the hospitality industry and the Svalbard market is preferred.
This position does not include accommodation, so you should have your own housing arrangements in place. However, we are open to providing visa sponsorship for the right candidate.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing sales strategies to attract new business
- Building relationships with potential clients through networking events, presentations, and site visits
- Responding to inquiries promptly and providing accurate information about the hotel's services
- Negotiating rates and contracts with clients
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure excellent customer service
- Tracking sales performance and reporting on progress to management
- Staying updated on market trends and competitive pricing to adjust strategies accordingly
We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is results-driven and thrives in a fast-paced environment. As we cater to international guests, fluency in English is required. Fluency in Norwegian or another language is a plus.
