Information Security Analyst
Location: US (with option for remote work)
Salary: $1300/month (negotiable based on experience and qualifications)


As an Information Security Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our company's data and systems. Your primary responsibility will be to identify potential vulnerabilities and risks, develop strategies to mitigate these risks, and implement security solutions to protect our company's valuable assets. This position requires a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices, as well as the ability to stay up-to-date on evolving threats and technologies.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular assessments of our company's systems and networks to identify potential vulnerabilities
- Develop plans to address identified risks and implement appropriate security measures
- Monitor systems for any suspicious activity or breaches, and respond promptly to any incidents
- Stay informed about emerging cybersecurity threats and trends, and make recommendations for proactive measures to enhance our company's security posture
- Work closely with IT teams to ensure that all systems are properly configured with necessary security controls
- Conduct regular security training for employees to promote awareness and best practices for information security

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in information security analysis or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), vulnerability scanning tools, etc.
- Familiarity with common operating systems (Windows, Unix/Linux) and cloud environments such as AWS or Azure
- Experience with web application security testing tools such as Burp Suite or OWASP ZAP is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively with team members
