Data-mining Specialist



We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data-mining Specialist to join our team on a contract basis. As a Data-mining Specialist, you will be responsible for extracting, analyzing, and interpreting data from various sources to identify patterns and trends. Your role will be crucial in providing valuable insights to support decision making within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize data mining tools and techniques to extract data from various sources such as databases, websites, and social media platforms.
- Clean and preprocess data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Analyze large datasets using statistical methods to identify patterns and trends.
- Interpret data findings and present them in a clear and concise manner.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop data-driven solutions for business problems.
- Develop and maintain data models for predictive analysis.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in data mining technologies.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related field.
- Proven work experience as a Data-mining Specialist or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of data mining tools such as SQL, Python, R, etc.
- Experience with statistical analysis tools (e.g. SPSS) is preferred.
- Familiarity with machine learning techniques is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a simplified manner.

Salary:
This is a contract position offering a salary of $1300 per month.
