Typesetter for Contract Position in US


A publishing company in the US is seeking a contract Typesetter to join their team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Typesetter to work on a variety of projects and showcase their skills. The ideal candidate will have previous typesetting experience and be able to work independently.

Responsibilities:
- Typeset various documents, including books, magazines, and other publications
- Format text and graphics according to specific guidelines
- Ensure accuracy and consistency in design, layout, and formatting
- Collaborate with editors, designers, and other team members to meet project deadlines
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and software updates
- Troubleshoot any technical issues related to typesetting

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Typesetter in a publishing or printing environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow formatting guidelines accurately
- Proficiency with typesetting software such as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Familiarity with industry standards for print production

Additional Information:
This is a contract position with the potential for long-term employment. The salary for this role is $1400 per month. Accommodation may be provided for the duration of the contract. Candidates must have their own valid work visa for the US.
