Job Title: Typesetter



We are hiring a skilled Typesetter to join our publishing team in the United States. As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for setting and formatting text for print and digital publications using various software programs.

Responsibilities:
- Utilize typesetting software to layout and format text for print and digital publications.
- Proofread and edit text to ensure accuracy in spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
- Collaborate with editors, designers, and other team members to achieve the desired layout and design of publications.
- Create tables, charts, graphs, and other visual elements as needed.
- Make necessary adjustments to ensure consistency in font styles, sizes, and spacing throughout the publication.
- Ensure compliance with company style guidelines and industry standards.
- Meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality work.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Typesetter or similar role.
- Proficient in typesetting software such as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent proofreading skills.
- Knowledge of typography principles and design elements.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members.

Salary:
This position offers a salary of $1400 per month.
