Plasterboard Worker

A reputable construction company in the United States is seeking a skilled and experienced Plasterboard Worker to join our team. As a Plasterboard Worker, you will be responsible for installing and finishing plasterboard on various construction projects. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1100 per week and accommodation provided.

Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut plasterboard to fit specific areas
- Install plasterboard using appropriate tools and techniques
- Secure plasterboard to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces
- Prepare surfaces for plasterboard installation by removing old materials
- Apply tape, mud, and other materials to cover joints and cracks in plasterboard
- Smooth out surfaces to create a seamless finish
- Use sandpaper or other tools to smooth out imperfections on finished surfaces
- Inspect completed work for quality assurance

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Plasterboard Worker or similar role
- Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately
- Familiarity with various types of plasterboard materials and their applications
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as saws, drills, hammers, etc.
- Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions
- Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work
- Good time management skills and ability to meet deadlines

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Vocational training or apprenticeship in plastering preferred
- Certification in related field is a plus
