Formworker (Contract Position)


We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Formworker to join our construction team on a contract basis. As a Formworker, you will be responsible for creating and setting up temporary structures used to support concrete during the construction process.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and construction plans to determine formwork specifications
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials
- Cut, shape, and assemble timber or plywood to form molds for pouring concrete
- Erect and secure scaffolding, ramps, or other temporary structures as needed
- Align forms for pouring concrete, according to specified depth and alignment
- Install reinforcing materials such as steel bars or wire mesh
- Pour concrete into forms and smooth surface using trowel or screed
- Remove forms after concrete has set and clean and prepare them for reuse

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in formwork construction
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings
- Strong knowledge of different types of formwork materials and their uses
- Familiarity with various hand tools used in formwork construction
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects and work at heights if needed

Salary:
The salary for this contract position is $1400 per month.

This position is located in the United States.
