Heavy Equipment Operator

As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of heavy equipment, such as bulldozers, excavators, loaders, and cranes. Your primary goal will be to ensure the safe and efficient operation of these machines while following all relevant safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner, following all safety guidelines and regulations
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Monitor equipment for any malfunctions or issues and report them immediately to the supervisor
- Load and unload materials using heavy machinery as needed
- Complete daily logs and reports on equipment usage, maintenance, and any incidents that occur
- Follow project plans and instructions from supervisors to complete tasks efficiently
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations on job sites

Requirements:
- Valid Heavy Equipment Operator license or certification
- Previous experience operating heavy equipment preferred
- Ability to operate multiple types of heavy machinery
- Strong understanding of safety protocols for heavy equipment operation
- Physical fitness to withstand long hours of standing, bending, climbing, and lifting
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Good communication skills
