Entry-level Glazier - Contract Position

We are currently seeking an entry-level Glazier to join our team on a contract basis. As a Glazier, you will be responsible for installing glass and other related materials in various structures such as windows, doors, and storefronts. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is interested in pursuing a career in the glass industry and is looking for hands-on experience.

Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut glass to fit specific dimensions
- Install glass into frames using tools such as putty knives, pliers, and suction cups
- Secure glass with glazing points or moldings
- Use sealants to weatherproof and secure glass
- Replace old or broken glass panes in existing structures
- Work with various types of glass including tempered, laminated, and insulated
- Follow safety procedures to prevent injuries on the job site

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working with glass is preferred but not required
- Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Physical stamina for standing, bending, and lifting heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)
- Willingness to work at varying heights using ladders or scaffolding

Salary: $1700 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: US (preference given to local candidates)

Employment Type: Contract (with potential for full-time employment)

Note: This position requires the candidate to have their own visa/work permit.
