Assistant Glazier

The Assistant Glazier will work closely with the lead glazier to install, repair, and replace glass in windows, doors, and other structures. This part-time position is ideal for a student looking to gain experience in the glazing industry. The role does not include accommodation and is located in the US.

Responsibilities:
- Assist lead glazier with measuring, cutting, and installing glass
- Remove broken or damaged glass and prepare area for replacement
- Secure glass in frames using putty, screws, or other materials
- Operate tools and equipment such as drills, cutters, and grinders
- Clean up work area after completion of job

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (current students are welcome to apply)
- Previous experience in glazing or construction preferred but not required
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work on ladders or scaffolding
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions carefully
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity

Salary:
Starting salary for this part-time position is $1600 per month.

Location:
This job is located in the US. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship.

Working Hours:
This is a part-time position with flexible working hours. The schedule will be determined based on availability of both the candidate and the lead glazier.
