Preservation Architect Assistant


We are a well-established preservation architecture firm located in the US seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Preservation Architect Assistant. In this role, you will work closely with our team of experienced preservation architects to assist in the design, documentation, and execution of preservation projects.

As a Preservation Architect Assistant, you will be responsible for conducting research on historic buildings and sites, preparing drawings and schematics, and assisting in the development of preservation plans. You will also assist in the preparation of proposals and project budgets. This position requires strong communication skills as you will be working closely with clients, contractors, and other team members.

The ideal candidate for this position should have a degree in architecture or a related field. While experience in preservation architecture is preferred, we are willing to train the right candidate. Attention to detail and the ability to work independently are essential for success in this role. Knowledge of AutoCAD and other design software is also required.
