Preservation Architect
We are seeking a skilled Preservation Architect to join our team in the bustling city of Us. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures, ensuring their longevity and cultural significance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting research and surveys to assess the historical and architectural significance of buildings
- Developing preservation plans and strategies to protect and maintain historic structures
- Collaborating with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to carry out preservation projects
- Conducting site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with preservation standards
- Preparing reports, proposals, and presentations on preservation projects for clients or stakeholders
- Providing expert advice on the conservation of historic materials, techniques, and methods
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or Historic Preservation from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 3 years experience in historic preservation or related field
- Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and standards related to historic structures
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or other design software
- Strong research skills with ability to analyze information from various sources
- Excellent communication skills with ability to interact effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members
