Experienced Barista

Our busy café in the heart of New York City is seeking an experienced barista to join our team. As a barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold drinks, including coffee, tea, and specialty beverages. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workspace, taking customer orders, and handling cash transactions.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience as a barista in a fast-paced environment. A strong knowledge of coffee beans, brewing techniques, latte art, and other espresso-based drinks is required. The ability to work well under pressure and multitask while maintaining a friendly demeanor is essential.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve hot and cold drinks according to customer preferences
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash transactions using POS system
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers in a friendly manner
- Educate customers about our products and make recommendations based on their preferences
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a barista in a fast-paced environment
- Extensive knowledge of coffee beans, brewing techniques, latte art, and other espresso-based drinks
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a friendly demeanor
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with customers in a professional manner
- Strong attention to detail for preparing drinks accurately according to customer preferences
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Salary: $1300 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: New York City, US (work permit or US citizenship required)
