A popular café in the heart of New York City is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for creating and serving delicious coffee and tea drinks to our customers while providing exceptional customer service. You will also be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the café, as well as handling cash transactions and restocking supplies.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner
- Learn and memorize drink recipes to create consistently high-quality beverages
- Operate espresso machine, grinder, and other equipment with precision and care
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash transactions and maintain an accurate cash drawer
- Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times
- Restock supplies as needed throughout shift
- Communicate with team members to ensure efficient workflow
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, making recommendations, and resolving any issues that may arise

Requirements:
- Proven working experience as a Barista or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of coffee brewing methods
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Customer service-oriented mindset
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time

Qualifications:
No formal education is required for this position; however, previous experience as a Barista or knowledge of coffee preparation is preferred. A friendly attitude, passion for coffee, ability to work well in a team, and willingness to learn are key qualities we are looking for in our ideal candidate.

Salary:
We offer competitive pay starting at $1500 per month plus tips. We also provide opportunities for growth within the company based on performance.
