Barista - Coffee Specialist

The Barista - Coffee Specialist will be responsible for creating and serving high-quality coffee beverages to our customers. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee and previous experience working as a barista. They should also possess strong customer service skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and take their orders, ensuring accuracy in customization and payment processing
- Prepare various types of coffee beverages, such as lattes, cappuccinos, and espressos, according to our standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the coffee bar, equipment, and supplies
- Ensure all food safety guidelines are followed when handling food and drinks
- Uphold company policies and procedures regarding quality control, cleanliness, and customer service
- Educate customers on our menu offerings and make recommendations based on their preferences
- Handle customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner, seeking assistance from management when needed

Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year experience working as a barista in a high-volume environment
- Knowledge of different coffee brewing methods and techniques
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 30 pounds
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
- Must have valid work authorization/sponsorship in the US
