Surveyor Assistant


We are hiring a Surveyor Assistant to join our team in the United States. As a Surveyor Assistant, you will work closely with our team of surveyors to assist in collecting and analyzing data for various projects. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist surveyors in conducting field surveys using various equipment such as GPS receivers, total stations, and levels
- Collect and record accurate measurements and data for mapping, construction, or other projects
- Help set up and maintain surveying equipment before and after use
- Perform basic calculations and data analysis under the supervision of a surveyor
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure project goals are met
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment at all times
- Complete administrative tasks such as filing, organizing documents, and preparing reports as needed

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred
- Previous experience working as a surveyor assistant or in a related field is preferred but not required
- Strong math skills and proficiency in using measurement tools/equipment
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and terrain for extended periods of time
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1200 per month.

Location:
This is a contract job based in the United States. Preference will be given to candidates who are authorized to work in the US.
