As a Land Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting land surveys to determine property boundaries, topography, and other critical information for construction or development projects. You will also be responsible for creating detailed maps and reports based on your findings.
Your main duties will include using specialized surveying equipment, such as GPS systems and total stations, to measure and record various data points on a property. This will involve setting up and maintaining surveying instruments, taking accurate measurements, and documenting your findings in an organized manner.
In addition to conducting surveys, you will also be responsible for analyzing data and creating maps using computer-aided design (CAD) software. This will require strong analytical skills and attention to detail in order to accurately represent the survey data in a visual format.
As a Land Surveyor, you must have excellent communication skills as you will be working closely with engineers, architects, and other professionals involved in construction projects. You must also have strong mathematical skills in order to calculate distances, angles, and elevations from survey data.
This position requires physical work including walking long distances over uneven terrain. You must also be comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions. As this job may require travel to different locations for surveys, a valid driver's license is necessary.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in land surveying or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Land Surveyor
- Proficient in using surveying equipment and CAD software
- Strong mathematical skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Valid driver's license
Salary: $1000/month with benefits including accommodation, free visa and ticket
